New Career - Certificate Massage Therapy (CMT)

A Direction to Study 

The CMT Course is a non accredited course that aims to create a massage practitioner with good career potential & foundation of skills that will lead to further study to advanced Courses that lead to professional work. The Certificate Relaxation Massage (Relaxation) training attempts to address issues at a level that will allow you to step into a Government Accredited Course.

CMT – Certificate Relaxation Massage (Relaxation) teaches massage as the basis of a wholistic approach to treatment, incorporating soft tissue techniques and clinical experience.

First Step to Accredited Courses

Although CMT is designed to take students up to the entry level required for a Government Accredited Courses, this Course is also open to anyone wanting to develop basic hands-on skills in general massage, for use on a recreational level with family and friends.

For those wishing to go on to do a higher level professional training course, this provides an opportunity to get an experience of massage therapy.

This CMT Course is mostly “hands on”, students receive a pre-course workbook, undertake theory and practical classes, 50 hours of student clinic placement, and will then obtain a Certificate Massage Therapy - Relaxation (CMT). CMT course is a stepping stone to other Accredited Courses.
